Add logistics value from Panama with tariff benefits at destination
Multimodal Marine is certified by Panama's customs authority to issue Re-export Certificates. Your cargo can be consolidated, stored and redistributed from our Free Zone while keeping the tariff preferences of Panama's free trade agreements, as long as it stays under customs control and without transformation. In practice, you use Panama as your regional distribution hub and your products reach their destination with the reduced or waived tariff they qualify for.

We operate a dedicated warehouse exclusively for pharmaceutical, cosmetic and fragrance products, with a license from Panama's Ministry of Health. Storage, control and security conditions designed for sensitive, high-value merchandise.

Tax Benefits
Customs Process
- The import process is triggered only when goods leave the Free Zone into the national customs territory.
- While inside the Free Zone, goods remain under customs suspension, with no duties or ITBMS (VAT).
- We operate under permanent customs control, with the National Customs Authority present within Panapark Free Zone.
Free Zone Regime
- Foreign and domestic goods may enter, be stored and handled within the Free Zone under Law 32 of 2011.
- Import duties and taxes are paid only when goods are brought into the national customs territory for consumption.
- Unlimited storage time within the Free Zone.
- Operations with foreign markets and between free zones are exempt from direct and indirect taxes, except as provided by Law 32.
Import and Export
- Foreign goods remain exempt from duties and ITBMS while inside the Free Zone.
- Goods destined for export or re-export incur no duties or exit taxes.
- Re-export to Latin America and the Caribbean within logistics and value-added operations, with no tax on the foreign transaction.
